Tasmania Trip 7.

It's been a week already... Time really passed quickly. Since we were staying in Launceston but we wanted to go to the 'Salamanca Market' which was only opened on Saturdays, we had to drive 2.5 hrs to get to Hobart early in the morning, was so tired:/ Around 9:30, we finally got there and started to look/shop around :) It's a really local market, many of the stuffs were made in tasmania, there were woodcraft stores (Huon Pine), fruit stores (fresh cherries, blueberries), handcraft stores, home ware stores ETC! Loved the market so much! After that, we had lunch at 'Barilla Bay Restaurant', the oysters were very FRESH!! Both the raw ones and the cooked ones were delicious! It's worth it to drive all the way down to Cambridge for the real tasmanian oysters! For dinner, we had a Spanish meal at Launceston Seaport! Omg the Paella (Spanish rice) was so yum! And the dessert - 'churros con chocolate' was fantastic! But damn it , I forgot to take a photo of it, well that proved how attractive it looked hahaha!

Tasmania Trip 6.

It's finally warmer today so we went to the Melita's Honey Farm. At first I thought it's an actual farm full of bees but then it's basically a shop with honey products. Fortunately there are over 50 varieties of honey to taste and they are really special flavours (blue gum, chocolate, rose, lavender, hazelnut etc) and i reckon 'leatherwood' was the best! If you ever go there, definitely try it! There was a photo of the bees but it's a bit gross so i decided not to post. After lunch we visited the Bridestowe Lavender Farm, OMG it's so beautiful!!! Full of my fav colour in the farm, just really amazing! Then I had a very yummy Lavender Milkshake at the café:) For dinner we went to an Italian restaurant at the CBD of Launceston called 'Franco's'.

Tasmania Trip 5.

Cant believe it's day 5 already. Really don't wanna leave this beautiful city so soon. Anyway, we had a little breakfast this morning at a local café and then visited the Burnie Regional Museum and the Art Gallery, simply amazing! After that, we went to the table cape lighthouse and took a few pics there, the view was spectacular, like some old english landscape! I had a delicious seafood meal at 'fish on the edge' back in Burnie and had a gelato as dessert teeheee:) We originally planned to go to the Honey Farm but unfortunately it closed at 5, so we went to the Liffey Falls instead. It was a long drive but it's worth it cos it's a World Heritage Area! Beautiful. Finally we arrived Launceston, our destination for today. If the weather is fine then we should be going to the Honey Farm tomorrow!

Tasmania Trip 4.

Hey there! Today I went to this little village called 'Strahan' and went on this cruise! The weather wasn't at its best but it's alright, I was on the boat haha. We went along the famous Gordon River, then Sarah Island and Hells Gates. There was this tour guide talking about the history of Sarah Island, about how the convicts used to be punished and sent there, it's pretty interesting although i don't like history... Yea and as you can see, I got this cute little Lavender bear:) hehee it smells soooo nice! Around 4, we started driving to another town called 'Burnie' and had a nice dinner there. Today was mostly on the cruise and the car, hopefully there will be more outdoor activities tomoz!

Tasmania Trip 3.

So yea it's the 3rd day, didnt do as much as yesterday cos we had to drive all the way from Hobart to Queenstown. But on the way there we stopped at the Salmon ponds and had the chance to feed my dearest fish - Salmon!! It's fun except for the wind:/ I had a 'pancakes by the ponds' meal there, then we planned to visit the Lake St Clare, however the rain was too heavy and it was super cold up at the mountain... Legit freezing in my shorts. (8.5 degrees) Finally we arrived Queenstown afterall, it's a really old and tiny town, quite cool to see all the old shops and old petrol station and old theatre, I felt like I was in some sort of American cowboy movies lol

Tasmania Trip 2.

Day 2 - went to the famous Cadbury Visitor Centre at Claremont, Hobart! Yay chocolate is my life🍫 It was awesome knowing how the factory works and seeing all varieties of chocolate in front of my eyes, it's like a dream-come-true man! Then we went cherries picking at Sorell Fruit Farm, OMG the fruits were the sweetest i've ever tasted, no joke. First time in my life picking cherries and eating them straight away! Had some fresh berries desserts for lunch, after that we went to Tahune for air walk, legit walking on top of some gigantic trees! It's great cos i thought i've burnt up quite a lot of calories so i could have a big dinner afterwards:) The food at Hobart Waterfront was wonderful, the oysters, salmon, and all other seafood, YUM👍
